Fantastic $30 Cartography Humble Bundle Is a Virtual Tabletop GM's Dream

Following a brief run back in April, this cartography software collection is back for a limited time that lasts through early December. Described as an extensive collection of mapping tools created by ProFantasy Software over the years, the entire collection is valued at more than thirteen hundred dollars. And there are multiple package options available here.

The Main Attraction

The standout feature is definitely a lifetime license to the CC3+ software, a professional-grade mapping application which enables users to create everything from epic fantasy landscapes, smaller regional maps, city maps, and most notably, dungeon and tabletop battle maps.

Package Levels

Entry Level

The most affordable option, starting at just one dollar, includes only four of the 39 total items: Symbol Set 1: Fantasy Overland, Token Treasury: Monsters 1, Source Maps: Castles!, Urban Source Maps. This package suits cartographers who already have CC3+, but it does offer fresh fantasy design elements for landscape mapping, over seven hundred fifty creature tokens compatible with online gaming platforms, more than two dozen aerial castle designs including hundreds of map markers, eight complete urban centers, plus seventy-plus building interiors.

Intermediate Package

The eight-product collection for at least $15 is where things get more interesting by adding in permanent CC3+ access, Cartographer's Annual Vol 1, Tome of Ultimate Mapping, Isometric Cities Symbol Pack. The Annual represents the yearly bundle from the company's ongoing subscription program which includes multiple CC3+ enhancements like map collections and additional utilities. The Isometric Cities enables present urban areas in 3D perspective with isometric views from all sides. And the Tome of Ultimate Mapping comprises 760 pages for beginners and "power users" alike, full of tips and tutorials for the map-making process.

Every volume from the Annual series are included here, alongside a slew of other resource and asset packs that can help users design entire planets or galaxies, or focus exclusively on traditional fantasy world-building: battle maps, dungeons, urban centers, and land masses from almost any perspective. Users can also create character portraits. For $30 as opposed to $15, the full bundle is so worth it, especially for cartographers with temporary CC3+ access seeking permanent licensing. However, it's clearly an even better deal for map-making newbies considering you even get the beginners' tutorials to help you get started. The one caveat here though the purchase is available on any platform, the software is only usable with Windows systems.

Charitable Component

As with other Humble Bundles, a portion of each sale supports charitable organizations. In this instance, that's Save the Children, established in 1919 by Eglantyne Jebb dedicated to enhancing children's welfare globally via educational programs, medical services, and crisis response.
